How To Make Your Own Toner
Below you will find the recipe that takes you through how to make your own apple cider vinegar face toner at home, the ingredient ratios for both normal and sensitive skin types are included 🙂

To make your own toner, you will need:
- A sterilised spray bottle or a sterilised jar
- Apple cider vinegar (Raw and unfiltered)
- Distilled water
Step 1. Select your spray bottle or jar and make sure that it is sterilised.
Step 2. For normal skin type: Add one part apple cider vinegar and two parts distilled water (1:2 Ratio) into the spray bottle or jar.
For example: 100ml apple cider vinegar + 200ml distilled water
or 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar + 2 tablespoons of distilled water
For sensitive skin type: Add one part apple cider vinegar and four parts distilled water (1:4 Ratio) into the spray bottle or jar.
For example: 100ml apple cider vinegar + 400ml distilled water
or 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar + 4 tablespoons of distilled water
Step 3. If you’re using a spray bottle: Spritz the toner over the face and neck area after cleansing.
If you’re using a jar: Apply a small amount of the toner to a cotton pad and apply it to the face and neck area after cleansing.
Step 4. It is recommended that you keep your toner in a cool, dark place (preferably in a dark container) so that it stores well.

- Distilled water
Instructions
- For normal skin type: Add one part apple cider vinegar & two parts distilled water (1:2 Ratio) into a sterilised spray bottle or a sterilised jar.
- For sensitive skin type: Add one part apple cider vinegar & four parts distilled water (1:4 Ratio) into a sterilised spray bottle or a sterilised jar.
- Apply to your skin after cleansing and before you apply moisturiser for best results.
- It is recommended to store your toner in a cool, dark place - preferably in a dark container.
