This post talks about Neville Goddard’s infamous SATS technique and how you can use it to manifest literally anything you desire.
The SATS manifesting method that we are about to discuss was originally coined by Neville Goddard and has been used by manifestors across the globe to manifest their desires. It is by far one of my favourite and most used ways to manifest. If you love to daydream and visualise, you are going to LOVE this.
Many people report making up scenarios and ‘daydreaming’ as they fall asleep but did you know that you can use this to your advantage when used correctly? The time before falling asleep can be transformational when it comes to manifesting. Here’s how the SATS method can help you…
What is SATS?
SATS stands for state akin to sleep.
It is the state that you are in when you’re feeling relaxed and drowsy before you fall asleep but are still conscious of your surroundings.
If we’re talking in terms of brain waves, this is most commonly when Alpha/Theta waves occur.
Both of these brain wave states (Alpha and Theta) are ideal states to be in when practising manifestation techniques such as SATS as your subconscious mind is going to be more open and impressionable to any information that you feed it.
How to use the SATS technique
Now that you have a better understanding of what ‘State akin to sleep’ is, we will now discuss the steps to take to perform the SATS technique.
Step 1) Think of what it is that you want to manifest, what is the desired end state?
For example: If you wanted to manifest your dream home, your desired end state would typically be you already living in that dream home.
Step 2) Create a short scene or an image depending on which you prefer, the scene needs to be short enough so that you can visualise it on a loop with ease.
Your scene should be portrayed as if your manifestation has already happened and you are living in your desired end state.
Neville Goddard who spoke about the SATS technique in his lectures said to ‘Make as life like a representation as possible of what you would see and what you would touch and what you would do‘.
For example: You want to manifest £1000 so the end goal is having already received that exact money.
Your visualisation scene could be you standing in your home counting the money in your hands.
Imagine looking at the notes as you are going through them and counting them.
You could imagine what the money feels like in your hands.
If you wish to visualise an image instead, you could imagine seeing a payment sent to you of £1000 in your phone notifications.
Make sense?
Step 3) When you are in that relaxed and drowsy state which we talked about in the first section, play your scene or image on a loop in your mind until you fall asleep.
*For best results, do this every night*
You can also visualise your scene or image when you first wake up, throughout the day or even if you sit down to meditate if you wish to.
What makes this technique so powerful is that not only is your subconscious mind very impressionable in this state but you are also falling asleep in the state of the wish fulfilled.
Your brain is going to be processing the information of the wish being fulfilled overnight and you are most likely going to wake up in that abundant and sure state.
In summary, the key to using the SATS technique is to visualise your scene or image on a loop in those moments when you feel relaxed and drowsy before sleeping – whether that be if you were to purposely get yourself into this state via meditation or by taking advantage of being deeply relaxed before you fall asleep anyway.
