The SATS manifestation method (State akin to sleep) is one of Neville Goddard’s most talked about techniques and has been used by manifestors all across the globe to manifest their desires. It is by far one of my favourite and most used ways to manifest. If you love to daydream and visualise, you will LOVE this technique!

Many people report making up scenarios and ‘daydreaming’ as they fall asleep, but did you know that you can use this to your advantage when used correctly? The time before falling asleep can be transformational when it comes to manifesting. Keep reading to learn how to use the SATS method.

What is SATS?

SATS stands for state akin to sleep.

It is the state that you are in when you are feeling relaxed and drowsy before you fall asleep, but are still conscious of your surroundings.

If we are talking in terms of brain waves, this is most commonly when Alpha/Theta waves occur.

Both of these brain wave states (Alpha and Theta) are ideal states to be in when using manifestation techniques to program the subconscious mind because, in these states, your subconscious mind is more open and impressionable to any information that you feed it.

Now that you have a better understanding of what ‘State akin to sleep’ is, here is how to use the SATS manifestation method to manifest your desires.

How to use the SATS Manifestation method:

Step 1) Get clear on the desire that you want to manifest. What is your desired outcome?

Step 2) Create a short scene (Short enough so that you can loop it with ease) or an image that represents your desire already being yours. Your scene or image should be portrayed as if your manifestation has already happened, and you are living your desired outcome.

Neville Goddard, who taught the SATS manifestation method in his lectures, said to ‘Make as life like a representation as possible of what you would see and what you would touch and what you would do‘.

For example: You want to manifest a specific amount of money, and your end goal is having already received that exact money.

You could visualise a scene where you are standing in your home, counting the exact money in your hands. Imagine looking at the notes as you are going through them and counting them. Imagine what the money feels like in your hands.

If you wish to visualise an image instead, you could imagine seeing a payment of that specific amount of money sent to you in your phone notifications.

Step 3) When you are in that relaxed and drowsy state before falling asleep, play your scene or image on a loop in your mind until you fall asleep.

*For best results, do this every night*

Overall, the key to using the SATS manifestation method is to visualise your scene or image on a loop in those moments when you feel relaxed and drowsy before sleeping – whether that be if you were to purposely get yourself into this state via meditation or by taking advantage of being deeply relaxed before you fall asleep anyway.
