Citrus infused homemade all purpose cleaner
This recipe takes you through how to make your own budget-friendly and non-toxic homemade all purpose cleaner with just 3 simple ingredients.
Equipment
- 1 Jar
- 1 Spray bottle
Materials
- Orange peels
- White vinegar
- Distilled water
Instructions
- Fill the glass jar with citrus peels and cover with white vinegar leaving roughly a 1'' gap between the vinegar and the top of the jar.
- Tighten the lid and leave the jar for around 2 weeks to infuse in a cool dark place.
- Fill the spray bottle with a 1:1 ratio of distilled water and your newly infused vinegar leaving out the orange peels. E.g. 1 cup of distilled water + 1 cup of vinegar.
- Use as you would like any cleaning spray.
Notes
It is recommended to avoid using vinegar on some surfaces such as granite and stone as it can cause damage.
