How to make your own non toxic homemade all purpose cleaner in just a few easy steps!
Introduction
By making your own DIY cleaning spray, not only are you saving money but you’re also leaving out harsh chemicals (which tend to come with a lot of commercial cleaning products) that can mess with our hormones and overall health.
As someone who has quite sensitive skin, I am super happy to have found an affordable and toxin-free cleaning spray that I can make at home with only just a few simple ingredients.
When I first thought about cleaning regular surfaces around the home with vinegar, I thought it would leave too much of a strong scent but by infusing the vinegar with citrus peels, I was stunned by how refreshing it was. What I love about this cleaning spray recipe is the zero waste aspect of using leftover citrus peels which gives the all-natural fragrance.
You can even experiment with various herbs and spices such as sage, rosemary, lavender, cinnamon and cloves. I certainly intend to try out a couple of different combinations and I will post an update!
White vinegar is great for cutting through dirt and grime. It makes stove tops and sinks super shiny too!
